BACKGROUND
‘Reading Light’ I & II are inspired by the magic of reading and the mental light of clarity that reading can bring to the mind. There are times in my life when a particular book has deeply changed my thinking, and I wanted to create something that reflected this feeling of being flooded by a new sense of awareness.
+ Printing Method
Each print is individually pressed from a hand-carved lino block using the traditional burnishing method. The manual printing process enables texture to be incorporated into the design in a unique way, celebrating the handmade nature of traditional techniques.

This print is made using professional oil-based relief ink by Cranfield Colours on 100% acid-free paper. All the materials I use are of professional artist’s quality, making this artwork a genuine, long-lasting investment.

Each print is hand-signed, titled and dated by year in pencil. You will receive a signed certificate of authenticity with your print, guaranteeing that it is a 100% genuine piece of original art.
